Vicious Gladiator Sets: Arena Season 9 und Rated Battleground Rewards

Update 31.10.10:

Heute sind Bilder zu den neuen wow S9 Sets aufgetaucht und zu meiner Überraschung haben die keinerlei Ähnlichkeit mit den T11 Sets. Auch vom Design her gefallen mir die Arena Season 9 Sets durchaus gut, am schlimmsten erwischt es meiner Meinung nach den Paladin mit seinem S9 Set.

Etwas zwiegespalten bin ich z.B. beim S9 Jäger, von vorn gefällt mir das Set recht gut, vor allem das Kettentuch vor dem Gesicht finde ich super. Von hinten sehen die drei “Läuchtkörper” dann doch ein wenig merkwürdig aus, was allerdings durch das schöne Ketten-Design wieder wet gemacht wird.

Inwzischen ist der 07. Dezember als Releasetag für Cataclysm bekannt und somit ist auch klar, dass die Arena Season 9 gegen Mitte Dezember starten dürfte. Die Arena Season 8 endet am 13.10.10 (was auch der Tag des kommenden Patches sein dürfte) und somit ist bis nach dem Cata Release und dem Start der Season 9 erst einmal Pause angesagt.

Es bleibt allerdings abzuwarten ob die inzwischen neunte Arena Season auch nur annähernd so viele Teams auf den Plan rufen wird wie die bisherigen, schließlich wird das Vicious Gladiator Set nun auch über die Rated Battlegrounds erhältlich sein. Dies in Kombination mit den verschiedenen Gildenerfolgen die es neben der Arena auch in den gewerteten Schlachtfeldern geben wird, spricht dafür das sich zumindest einige von der Arena abwenden werde.

Ich persöhnlich bin weder ein Fan von der Arena noch von Battlegrounds, Arena Season 9 Set bzw. Vicious Gladiator Set hin oder her. An Runs auf die Rated Battlegrounds mit einer Gildengruppe würde ich mich aber sicherlich deutlich eher beteiligen als an einer Arenagruppe.
